“I thought about getting a cat today. That’s a solid step into the commitment zone.”

★★★★★ (5 / 5 stars) When I first read this book, it was an automatic five-star read. I was instantly obsessed with Millie and Reid and the way the story focused on more than just their relationship. Millie had a lot to deal with, and the authors dive headfirst into those issues and capture them so authentically.

But now upon my third read, I do have some questions! (Spoiler Alert) This whole time, they were on an online dating app to find plus-ones for their commencement ceremony, etc. but we never actually got to see that night, and I feel semi-ripped off! LOL. It was mentioned, of course, in the epilogue, but I wanted to know who Alex took and how the rest of their online dating experiences went during that in-between time.

Also, I kind of wanted to hear more about Dustin's reaction to the whole thing. Millie obviously alluded to telling him out-of-the-blue, but we never got to see...Was he surprised? Not surprised? Disgusted? Jealous? Indifferent? Considering Millie found this group of friends through him in the first place, I just would have loved to have had firsthand interaction with him to gauge his reaction. In fact, having his reaction AT the commencement event would have been an awesome conclusion to read.

Honestly, though, I cannot recommend this book highly enough. It's “You've Got Mail” with a nerdy twist, and I loved everything about it.
