“The way I feel about him is like a heartbeat—soft and persistent, underlying everything.”

★★★★ (4.2 / 5 stars) This book was so sweet and worth the read. What I loved most was the ending. The entire last 5-10 chapters just gave me so much of the satisfying resolution I was hoping for, which is awesome with contemporary romance books. Some of the sub-plots felt a little underwhelming, like even the main blackmailing thread and the Nora/Leah suspicious behavior. BUT I am a sucker for email exchange, text convos, letter writing and note passing, so those sections kept my heart pitter-pattering all the way through. Such a great feel-good romance that I was looking for.
