“Witchy” by Ariel Slamet Ries • Book Review

★★★ (3 / 5 stars) This was a cute story with fun fantasy elements and refreshing diversity.

Some of the writing felt a little lackluster for me, and the info-dumping kept pulling me out of the plot and my investment in the main character. In fact, I really only ~felt~ for her in the last third or so of the graphic novel.

All this is why I'm only giving it 3 stars, but I would still recommend for fans of witchy fantasies, quirky animal companions, and colorful art styles.
