“You Should See Me In A Crown” by Leah Johnson • Book Review
“We are not above mistakes, not stronger than death, but we sure know how to love.”
★★★★ (4 / 5 stars) This was such a sweet novel with everything we look for in a YA contemporary romance: college pressure, friendship drama, campus gossip, new kisses, self-discovery, PROM...
I would definitely recommend this as a light, feel-good read for fans of teen contemporary fiction.

“Witchy” by Ariel Slamet Ries • Book Review
★★★ (3 / 5 stars) This was a cute story with fun fantasy elements and refreshing diversity. Some of the writing felt a little lackluster for me, but I would still recommend for fans of witchy fantasies, quirky animal companions, and colorful art styles.

“The Honey-Don’t List” by Christina Lauren • Book Review
“I want to make her life better by being the best thing in it.”
★★★ (3.5 / 5 stars) Enjoyed this one! Nothing too special that really swept me off my feet, but the arcs were cute.
A predictable rom-com that was sweet and entertaining. Definitely a feel-good book for those needing escapism, and I LOVED the narrators for the Audio edition.

“The Silent Patient” by Alex Michaelides • Book Review
“I believe the same is true for most people who go into mental health. We are drawn to this profession because we are damaged - we study psychology to heal ourselves. Whether we are prepared to admit this or not is another question.”
★★★★ (4.5 / 5 stars) Great writing voice. Great suspense and mystery. Great twist at the end. I loved it.
This story has mystery, some psychological thriller elements, and potentially unreliable narrators. Highly recommend for fans of: Gone Girl, “The Sinner,” “Bloodline,” and Lifetime murder movies.

“Daughter of the Siren Queen” by Tricia Levenseller • Book Review
“Your enchantments last long after your song fades.”
★★★★ (4 / 5 stars) Wow. This was such a fun sequel. Right away, Levenseller brings you back to the sharp confidence of Alosa and the serious angst with her and Riden.
I wish there was more to this series so that we could see more after the “happy ending,” but overall, I just loved this pirate-mermaid story as a whole. I would highly recommend it for all readers!

“The French Girl” by Lexie Elliott • Book Review
★★★★ (3.8 / 5 stars) The French Girl is a British thriller/mystery novel, which is not my usual genre. But it was thoroughly enjoyable regardless! The storyline is very intriguing, like a more mature (and appealing) “Pretty Little Liars,” which I was 100% here for.

“Success Is Easy” by Debbie Allen • Book Review
★★★★★ (5 / 5 stars) Success Is Easy is the modern Think and Grow Rich with a Debbie Allen twist.
She packs the same punch Napoleon Hill is admired for time and time again—with the added cherry-on-top of her modern approach to “shameless self-promotion” and tackling the imposter syndrome that social media and FOMO has infused into our society.

“Do the KIND Thing” by Daniel Lubetzky • Book Review
“Don’t be afraid to fail. Be afraid not to try.”
★★★★★ (5 / 5 stars) This was a great book. Daniel has such a captivating story, and he did an amazing job coupling every lesson with a personal experience or real-world analogy.
